Located in prestigious Poundbury, The Duchess of Cornwall Inn is an eye catching Inn and public house. For over 235 years the Woodhouse family have brewed award-winning Badger ales in the heart of Dorset and offered hospitality and a warm welcome in public houses across the South of England. The Duchess of Cornwall Inn reflects the locations, characters and enthusiasms that have shaped this very English family.

Within The Duchess of Cornwall Inn, you will encounter different areas that evoke a sense of being in an archetypal English Country House. Three floors of stunning bedrooms have been influenced by the Georgian England themes of Gentility and Mercantilism.

To complete the architect’s vision, Spiller (formerly DAI) understood that the ironmongery had to reflect this throughout, be sustainable and simple in design. By suppling a range of Antique Bronze finish ironmongery, this met the modern industrial look and the integrity of the building. Spiller (formerly DAI) specification included a matched finish on all door closers, master keyed cylinders, lockcase’s and door stops to ensure the package supplied met with the high standards of this prestigious flagship Hall and Woodhouse Inn.

Working with Blacknoll Building Contractors, Spiller (formerly DAI) provided a full specification service that included site visits, display boards and support from design phase through to completion. Spiller (formerly DAI) provided an on time service within the client’s budget.
